Town of Hood River, Oregon
Located about an hour due east of Portland, Hood River is in the heart of the
Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. The town offers exceptional
accommodations, a variety of great restaurants, beautiful scenery, and a wonderful
atmosphere. It's a great place to visit even without sampling the angling
opportunities.
Fortunately, the town is located in the epicenter of fly fishing on the west coast.
Within a 45 minute drive from town, you can easily access the greatest steelhead
and trout fisheries in the Northwest. With year round fishing possibilities, it's a great place to plan your next fly fishing adventure.
