June is a tough month for those of us addicted to Mykiss. If you want to find steel, try the Cowlitz or the North Santiam. That being said, it’s a great month to head to Alaska or British Columbia for monster kings on the fly. Check out our BC West and Alaska West pages to find the greatest Chinook fishing on the planet. Kings are the next steelhead! If you really want to challenge your skills as an angler, head north this summer.- SB
